Rubik's Cube

These were introduced in 1974 by Hungarian professor Erno Rubik and developed into a big fad that mostly drove a lot of people to the point of aggravation. These were not originally designed as a toy, but once they were brought upon the shores of the United States "Cubic's Rubes" were hooked. From the beginning as a confusing puzzle, they were soon a part of a fad that people competing to solve them in contests for speed. They were not only in a 3 sided version, but eventually an even more difficult 4 and 5 sided versions surfaced to challenge users further than before. See ya, and check back for more Cool Old Junk...
