Hasbro Lite Brite


These were originally introduced by in 1967 by Hasbro, and turned a simple concept of a backlit field covered by black construction paper that you pushed clear colored pegs through to create anything you might imagine into a very cool toy. Using the colored pegs to create pictures was simple enough, but the talent part was entirely up to the user. If nothing else, it was a great way to kill some time and stay out of your parents way (this was before they used to use the TV as a baby sitter).
