1961 Gibson ES-335 Dot Guitar


This classic is a rare 1961 Gibson ES-335 guitar that featured a "Dot" inlay neck instead of the block inlay that was standard for these, and are considered the most desirable version of these ever produced. These semi-hollow body beauties were constructed with an arched maple top, maple back and sides with a mahogany neck, and have a sound and feel that's all their own. These also featured the same "Patent Applied For" pickups that produced a tone that was a part of Gibson history and proved to be the standard other guitar makers had to try to produce to get their guitars noticed.
