1970 Ford Torino GT 429

Back at the height of the muscle car era, Ford pulled out all the stops and put out this 1970 Ford Torino GT that featured a Cobra Jet 429 power plant that 360 horsepower from the factory (365 hp with the optional shaker hood SCOOP WITH ram air feature), a Hurst 4 speed transmission and optional goodies like rear window louvers and a locking rear differential that made these make anybody take you seriously when you moved along side them on the streets. They were a force to be reckoned with at a time when you could still afford the gas to get them further than the next gas station for more.
