1970 Plymouth Hemi Barracuda



At the peak of the muscle car era, Plymouth unleashed this monster that was powered by a deadly 426 Hemi power plant, featured dual 4 barrel carbs and were not only a stylish looking car, but with a rated delivery of 425 horsepower, they had the guts to back it up on the street. They featured such cool details as a "Shaker" hood scoop for pushing more air into the mix, a "Slap Stick" automatic transmisson feature and other nifty tricks that made the name "Mopar" and "Hemi" (named for the hemispherical shape of the heads) the ones to contend with if you were serious about cars. It's hard not to give the proper respect to these classic beauties whether you were a Mopar fan or not, and if you weren't these could possibly win you over (unless you were the police or your parents).
