
These tasty treats were first introduced in 1890 by the Southern Nut Company, and after a few other companies produced them, they were finally sold by Necco. These were a chewy taffy like candy that had the flavors of vanilla, caramel and nuts combined, and were named after an illegal drink available during the prohibition (I knew there was a reason I liked these with a drink).
