These were introduced by Farley & Sathers in 1921 and were sugary sweet jelly like squares that were covered with a sugar coating that was perfect for getting yourself a nice sugar high. They were usually in a pack featuring assorted flavors such as orange, cherry, lemon, spearmint and licorice (these weren't always included, and another flavor was sometimes substituted). These things were chewy, gave you a great sugar high so you could bounce off the walls and get on your parents nerves, and as a bonus stuck to your teeth to make them a really cool way to kill some time as a kid.
