1956 Gretsch Silver Jet Guitar

This is a vintage 1956 Gretsch model number 6129 Silver Jet electric guitar that featured a mahogany body, mahogany neck and exposed pickups that produced a tone and twang that was in a league of it's own. It's hard to try to duplicate the feel and tone of these beauties that are unique to Gretsch, and what's the point..it just wouldn't be quite right anyway. These were American made guitars manufactured in New York, and if the sound of these didn't make you stand out, I think the silver sparkle finish probably would do the trick.
