NECCO Mary Jane Candys


This classic candy was introduced by in 1914 by the New England Confectionary Company and named for the relative of the inventor. They are a combination of peanut butter and molasses, and were an instant hit from when they were first released. The same company responsible for the NECCO wafers had yet another hit on their hands, and if you look around, you can still find these around today. The only bad point is the fact they sometimes harden up after sitting, but they turn chewy again as soon as you eat them anyway. See ya, and be sure to check back to see more Cool Old Junk...
