This is none other than a vintage 1965 Mosrite "Ventures" electric guitar, a quirky contender for one of the coolest guitars you can find. These were produced by a former guitar maker with Rickenbacker that left to bring these classics to the world. Produced in California, these were instant hits with surf guitar players for their twangy sound, were promoted by The Ventures early in their production, and later could be heard on many different types of music (check out the B-52's first album).
